Mega Man is a huge video game franchise spanning dozens and dozens of titles across the main Mega Man, Mega Man X, Mega Man ZX and Mega Man Battle Network series. One of the best things about Mega Man are the interesting looking characters. From protagonists to antagonists, the designs of each character feel like the design team took great pains to make each one feel cool and interesting.

So, let’s do in a few minutes what took these designers hours and days to do and have AI generate images based on the Mega Man series! We’ll be focusing on the main Mega Man series (Mega Man 1 - 11) for this post.

Mega Man / Rock Man

We could not start with anyone other than the titular character, Mega Man. The Blue Bomber, Rock Man, Mega Man, piece of junk: he’s had many names. But his look has stood the test of time.

This is great! I had to really push the AI; it didn’t want to make the image. So, I had to give the character a different color. But as we all know, Mega Man has different colors based on the power he’s using, so I’m fine with that. This is I think the best result I’ve gotten from AI images thus far.

Dr. Light

Dr. Light is the creator of Mega Man and also could double as Santa Claus. He’s a kind doctor and is always trying to help Mega Man and the world against the evil Dr. Waaawee(that’s Wily for you non Mega Man fans).
