This is the first In My Collection post where I do not own a complete in box copy. That’s primarily for two reasons:
CiB copies of old SNES games are outrageously expensive. Example, this game is valued at around $208 with the box and manual. Insanity.
I have a rule for collecting games and it’s always good to have rules when collecting things. The rule is, if the game is a cartridge-based game, I can purchase the loose copy. If the game is a CD based game, I need to at least have the box. The main reason for this is because cartridges are generally more sturdy and less prone to damage if it is loose. CDs can get scratched and cracked if not protected.
