I do not own, nor have I played the original Link’s Awakening. I do have a digital copy of Link’s Awakening DX, but I don’t count that because it’s not a physical copy. So, when I got around to playing Link’s Awakening Remake for the Nintendo Switch, I really didn’t know what was in store. And surprisingly, Link’s Awakening became one of my favorite Zelda experiences ever. I loved the art style and the subtle touches that made that game great. I purchased the game in November of 2021, so I was able to get it at a cheaper price than the original retail. And it seems that the game has basically retained its value since.
