I am a geek. I am a nerd. I always have been. My upbringing consisted of comic books, video games and movies. I love to talk about these things and I think a newsletter where I get to revisit and review geek culture is a great idea and I hope you think it is too. This newsletter used to contain just programming content. However, I wanted to write about more than just programming. Hopefully, this will be a good change. Why should I listen to this guy?

I’ve been playing games and watching movies since I was 7 years old. I am at the time of this writing, 38. So, I have over 30 years of experience in this area. I am very passionate about geek culture, and I love researching and hearing stories about the histories of these things. I have reviewed movies in a semi-professional capacity over at Flickchart.com and I have a podcast in which I review movies with my good friend over at The Cinemamen Podcast. I have a large collection of video games that continues to grow as well.
